How do I play Breakout?
Move the paddle to keep the ball in play. Each brick breaks when hit; clear them all to advance to the next level. If the ball drops you lose a life, and when your lives run out the game is over.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes — press and drag anywhere on the screen to move the paddle, just as smooth as a mouse. It also works inside WeChat; the page will not scroll while you drag.
Why does the bounce angle change?
Where the ball lands on the paddle decides the angle: hits near the edge bounce steeper. This is the heart of classic Breakout — deliberately clip the edges to curve shots into corners.
